Products purchased from Matchaeologist can be returned within 30 days of purchase. If more than 30 days have passed since your purchase, we are unfortunately unable to offer you a refund or exchange.
To be eligible for a refund, your item must be returned unused and in a re-sellable condition in its original packaging.
Please note that due to the perishable nature of our tea products, we are unable to accept returns. Gift vouchers and items sent as a gift are not eligible for return, and we require a receipt or proof of purchase for all returns.
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment within 14 days.
Failed Deliveries & Returned Packages:
In the event that the courier is unable to deliver the package due to an incorrect address entered by the client, the client's refusal to pay duties, failed attempts to reach the client at point of delivery, or otherwise, we are not responsible for the payment of the shipping costs and customs duties, fee and all other associated costs. Similarly, we are not responsible for the payment of re-shipping merchandise to the client. In such cases, the client is responsible for all shipping costs associated with the returned packages due to failed delivery which is non-refundable. We will deduct all shipping costs and duties associated with a failed delivery. We refund the balance when we receive the product back in our warehouse.
Only regular priced items may be refunded; unfortunately, sale items cannot be refunded.
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. In case of damage upon delivery, a clear photographic evidence of the damage caused by the postal service must be provided.
You are responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. Please only use a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance, as we are unable to accept responsibility for failed or lost deliveries.
