I really, really like this bowl because of how pretty and glossy it is. I feel like my matcha drinks had reached a new level after I purchased this bowl. Overall I really love this bowl and I would definitely repurchase!

Very good value for money, the matcha whisks well and creates a really good microfoam that’s creamy. Not bitter, with nutty and floral notes. High quality and vibrant green, fine texture too so I don’t even sift it half the time. The 100g tin is better than the smaller tin and lasts very long for daily use. My favorite matcha, can’t recommend it enough!!

I keep coming back to this matcha even though I’ve tried many others at different price points. Meiko matcha for me is the best balance between price and flavour. It is very smooth and finely ground, so you won’t get the powdery gritty texture. The colour is a vibrant green. The umami is good and whilst the flavour profile is overall subtle in my opinion, it works well. I use 1tsp with 50ml 80 degree C water and add to warmed 100ml oat milk. This is naturally sweet so I don’t need to add sweetener. 100g tin is more economical.

Even though this is culinary grade, it still has well rounded body and tastes great in iced lattes. The one star less is because my tin arrived with an irreversible dent in it but otherwise, quality was good and I liked the postcard that came with it.

I’ve tried plenty of matcha and I was super surprised on the flavor of Meiko. Out of the 6 different tins/brands of matcha I have I kept gravitating towards this one. Perfect for my lattes beautiful color and great taste. With that said pleaseeee restock the 100g. The first tin I bought was the 20g to just try and i must have the bigger tin. Anyways highly recommend I personally liked it a bit more than that matcha in a blue tin everyone recommends…. IYKYK. Definitely recommend for people to try it, I’d say it’s beginner friendly taste wise.

I got the 100g because I wanted to drink matcha everyday but didn’t want to commit if I haven’t tried the taste before. I trusted my friends’ recommendations and just boldly got the 100g immediately as soon as it was back in stock. I’m now so happy to wake up everyday to see that I still have tons of matcha powder left!

I just recently started making my own matcha latte’s and ordered this as my first matcha powder. I didn’t know what to expect, but I really enjoyed the quality of the powder. It wasn’t bitter or grassy, as I know it can be, and it has a beautiful color. I wish I could order it again, but it went out of stock the day after I ordered it. I also wish they had a 40g tin.

The matcha itself is delicious, its vibrant green color is so eye-catching. I will advise that you use the correct temperature of water, I used water that was too hot at first, and my matcha was bitter. When made properly, it’s amazing! I do have one issue though, I would not have bought this item with $10 shipping if I knew how long it would take to arrive. Matchaeologist advertised their shipping as “Express 2-3 days” and mine took longer than that. I respect companies that don’t commit false advertising, even if its the shipping expectations. Don’t market your “fast shipping” if you can’t meet those expectations.

It has a fragrant aroma and bright hue, reflecting the high grade quality. As an usucha, I found it to be quite astringent. However, when prepared as an iced matcha latte, the floral notes become more pronounced and the texture was well balanced. This is perfect for those who enjoy drinking matcha as a latte.

This matcha powder is so good! It's incredibly smooth and balanced. It was very fragrant and had a beautiful green color to it. I used the 4g of matcha powder to 40g of water ratio and it microfoamed so well!! Highly recommend combining it with oatmilk as it pairs VERY nicely and doesn't have any bitter notes at all!

I have seen lots of people reviewing and making TikTok’s about how good this matcha is, and I have to say it was very smooth and enjoyable. Not the most naturally sweet which is what I usually look for but fresh and works well in iced matcha lattes

I was in need of a new chasen, this one is so so comfortable to use, also the little shot chawan is so cute and of course the matcha is incredible as always, hadn’t tried the matsu before, loved it!

I am new to ceremonial matcha powders and this brand was recommended on Tik tok. I’m so glad I ordered it! It’s very fragrant, a wonderful green color, and the tasty matcha flavor comes in through every sip with no bitterness or fishy odor. It’s not too strong which is perfect for everyday matcha. I highly recommend!

First time purchasing from this brand, and I can say I will definitely be repurchasing again. The quality is there, the color is there, but I will say I do like a stronger matcha flavor. I don't know the terminology but if you like a stronger matcha then maybe you won't like this. For me this is great for a daily matcha latte especially for the price point and portion. So I can see this can either be a hit or miss for some people, but I will say this reminds me of a mix of Ippodo Sayaka. If your new to matcha, this is definitely worth trying you will not regret it.

After my second tin of the Meiko matcha from 100g İ now ordered Misaki.. omg amazing smooth and a little sweet flavour, İ am literally obsessed with both these flavours, if there was an option to buy 100g of Misako İ would immediately buy one!! Thankyou Matchaeologist for the great quality and service! I usually make my matcha’s with vanilla milk and agave syrup and a cold foam topping it’s cheff’s kiss

This was my first fancy matcha and it definitely lived up to my expectations. I really enjoyed this matcha. It was a vibrant colour, foamed very well, it was creamy and had a slight sweetness to it which meant I didn't need to add additional syrups or honey. I really enjoyed this and there is a lot that comes in the bag inside the tin.

I like it a lot and finished the whole can. I ordered another including misaki. The price is very affordable for 100g. Lasted for around a month. My current fav matcha. I tried another brand. But always coming back to this one cause it is thaaaat goooo. ❤️❤️❤️
